Wearable structure!
Week 10, 11 ect
My final peice, I have decided to do deconstruction to reconstruction.
I have stuck with using a tailored blazer but wanted to make it more funky by adding ties, if I had to name my peice I would name it something like 'Grandads sunday suit' because it remind me of his awful ties and blazer.
When pinned together!

Bodice Pattern and Draping.
Week 9
We crated a bodice block and then create different creative peices with draping ontop of the bodice.
1) Press Calico
2) Cut calico cut 60x40cm
3) Top to bottom fold 2.5cm in to have a straight finish (seam allowence) then press it flat from the marked bust line from top 20cm measured downwards. Pin the middle and also the side seam.
4) Leave 1cm gap for neck lines pin then cut off excess fabric.
5) Cut bottom of the bodice to fit the mannequin perfectly.
6) Then do the same process for the back panels.
7) Experiment draping ontop of the bodice.
Also abit more draping using lighter fabric, prefer this effect.
